Rudders and fins are precisely matched to the hull geometry of Empacher shells. This ensures accurate steering at high speed and excellent tracking in all water conditions. Each part is CNC-machined or cast to original Empacher dimensions, allowing straightforward installation without any rework.
Types and applications
- Racing rudders – optimized for each hull type; smaller blades for calm, straight courses, deeper blades for additional grip in rough or winding water.
- Fins – maintain straight tracking and prevent side drift, especially in crosswind or during strong drives.
- Empacher fittings – original shafts, yokes and mounting parts for perfect fit and reliable replacement during service or overhaul.
Selection guide
Always check your boat’s mold or serial number to select the correct rudder and fin combination. For flat, straight water a smaller rudder gives less drag; for rivers or technical courses a deeper rudder offers better steering control.
