Stainless steel bolts – hex, socket head and carriage bolts for riggers, foot stretchers and seats.

A2-grade stainless steel bolts in the most common rowing sizes. Suitable for mounting wing riggers, oarlocks, foot stretchers, steering fittings and sliding seat assemblies.

What you’ll find here

  • Socket head (Allen) bolts – e.g. M6×16, M6×30 and other lengths for flush, clean installation.
  • Hex bolts – M6×16, M6×30, M8×16, M8×25, M8×70 (e.g. for keel or rigger frame mounting).
  • Carriage bolts – with square neck under the head; ideal for rigger mounting through frames.
  • Full-thread bolts (A2 stainless) – universal use for riggers, slides and fittings.

Common applications

  • Riggers & oarlocks – securing wing riggers, pins and topstays.
  • Foot stretchers – mounting shoe plates and side or keel brackets.
  • Sliding seats – fixing seat carriages and bearing wheels.
  • Steering systems – for rudder yokes, cable guides and brackets.

Assembly tips

  • Always choose the correct thread size and length (M6 or M8) for each fitting.
  • Use washers between stainless and carbon/aluminium parts to spread load and prevent binding.
  • Keep a small selection of spare bolts in your toolbox for training sessions and regattas.
