Compatible seat types
These wheels are suitable for most ball bearing seats (single-action) used in modern rowing boats. They are installed in the seat undercarriage and fit systems from manufacturers such as Empacher, Filippi, Wintech and Swift.
Types of bearing wheels
- Eurow wheels – standard replacement wheels for most boat brands.
- Empacher wheels – original wheels for Empacher undercarriages.
- Martinoli wheels – widely used alternative compatible with most ball bearing seats.
- Special wheels – such as non-standard diameters for older Janousek and Stämpfli boats.
When to replace
Wheels should be replaced when the seat no longer runs evenly, when play develops in the bearing or when noise occurs. In practice, wheels are often replaced as a complete set to ensure a stable and consistent seat run.
